In this barrage more than 200 people were injured in several cities that were directly hit. In Be'er Sheva city Soroka Medical Center was directly hit. This major southern public hospital sastained extensive damage in the strike. Some of the wards were totally destroyed. Luckily the hospital began moving patients out of some buildings in the days before the strike as part of emergency precautions. Just hours before the strike patients were taken to the underground facility. Less than an hours after the missile hit, at 08:08AM, Malka Toledano from Yeruham gave birth to a baby boy in Caesarean section. Beside her is Prof. Eyal Shiner, the manager of the maternity ward. The UK’s favourite Christmas light trail returns for its 12th year with a showcase of new installations set within the UNESCO World Heritage Site landscape of Kew Gardens.
Thousands of dazzling lights, sounds, and immersive experiences along the 3km trail.
