Nepali travelers walk across the cliffs as they navigate the flooded section of the BP Highway in Kavrepalanchowk district, Nepal, on October 9, 2025. Various sections of the BP Highway, built with Japanese assistance, are swept by the floods of 2024. Within weeks of the disaster, the highway is brought back into operation by setting up diversions.
