'It's A Girl': Medium Claims To Know Sex of Royal Baby From Princess Diana

A medium, who once appeared on GMTV with Lorraine Kelly, has claimed she can see and speak to Princess Diana who has told her the royal baby will be a girl.

Carolina Bruce from Knaresborough in North Yorkshire regularly communicates with the late Princess who has allegedly appeared declaring to be back in the form of an archangel - someone who's lived on Earth and crossed over.

During one of her many conversations with the Princess of Wales, Carolina has claimed the spirit of Diana envisaged her grandchild will also be born on her birthday - July 1st.

Even though the 56-year-old has said she believes the baby will be a girl by spiritual rights, a phrase describing God's decision, she doesn't know whether the world will accept another female like Diana, declaring 'the world crucified her like Jesus Christ'.

The mum-of-two said she began talking with Diana soon after her tragic death in 1997 and even sold her 400-year-old chocolate-box cottage when she received a message in the middle of the night from Diana telling her to move house.

With little hesitation Carolina put her house on the market and waited for the next sign from Princess Diana.

A few weeks later the cottage had sold but Diana still hadn't told Carolina where to go.

"I thought I had got the message wrong," explained Carolina.

However, the message finally came in the form of a glowing house.

Carolina explained: "I was mediating in a cemetery one day when I noticed that the house on the grounds was for sale by auct...

'Naughty Beach Fun' Wins Electron Microscope Competition
Naked bodies appear to frolic on a beach, a frog happily perches on a hill and a kangaroo bounds across the landscape.

These are some of the familiar - and bizarre - sights scientists have seen under the microscope.

These images were entries in the recent International Symposium on the Physical and Failure Analysis of Integrated Circuits in Singapore.

The annual photography competition sees eggheads showing off the fun side of their research in microelectronics technology.

The analysts work on 'failure analysis', the process of investigating why a particular electronic component fails to work.

The winning image, entitled People on the Beach by Lim Saw Sing at Infineon Technologies, depicts a polyimide surface after exposure to reactive ion etching and sputter coating. In reality, it looks uncannily like a saucy beach scene with dozens of cavorting couples.

Second prize was Wings by Foo Fang Jie at Advanced Micro Devices which sees fracture analysis of a silicon sample resembling a pair of wings. Third prize The Hope Terrace by Tan Lee Koon at Systems-on-Silicon Manufacturing Co. is a picture of wafer-edge chipping giving the effect of step-like spectacular landforms.

Other highlights included a 'Royal Elephant' on a silicon sample, a particle embedded in a metal layer resembling a tortoise in water and a 'Fist of Victory' highlighted by an image showing the nano fabrication capability of a FIB (Focused Ion Beam).

The crochet art of Olek - Jun 2012
    FULL WORDS: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/gqsd

One woman has had the art world sewn up for the last ten years - by crocheting objects large and small around the world.

Polish-born Olek has spent a decade taking her crochet hooks to objects ranging from an excavator in Poland to a canoe in Wales.

Other colourful highlights have included a London taxi, a tractor, Wall Street's famous charging bull sculpture and her grandmother's entire house.

The clever sew and sew, now based in New York, exhibits in galleries but also performs guerrilla actions such as on Anthony Gormley's beach sculptures in Liverpool.

And the 34-year-old is not adverse to covering people in yarn - including herself.

Wandering Feet: Couple Document Travels By Foot Pics (& Baby Joins The Fun)
This collection of photographs document a British couple's travels over six years by just showing their feet.

London photographer Tom Robinson was sat on Brighton beach with his new girlfriend Verity in 2005 when he took a picture of their feet pointing out to sea.

Ever since then he has continued to document their travels and experiences in this way resulting in a collection of over 90 personal photos called 'Feet First'.

The photographs never once show their faces but in 2011 the series takes on a twist with the arrival of a third pair of feet - their daughter Matilda.

Tom and Verity Robinson both 30 have travelled extensively through South East Asia, South and Central America finding themselves lucky enough to experience some of the world's natural wonders by visiting a total of 31 countries.

Highlights of their photo album include their feet making their way across the Maekok River in Thailand; standing on volcanic rock in Guatemala; resting after four days trekking through the Andes Mountains and arriving at Machu Picchu in Peru and the collection finishes with the whole family watching their first sunset in Portugal.

Tom said: "Looking at the Brighton photo I just knew it'd make a great series. Verity and I had been going out for about six months but I had a feeling we'd be together for a long time.

"We were also really keen to start travelling so I knew we'd have lots of adventures together."

The Robinson's travels have taken them to Australia, taking a boat trip around the Whitsunday Islands despite it being stinger season (the seas are swarming with killer jellyfish) and travelling in their beloved campervan.

Describing one of their adventures, Tom said: "After a long day driving we couldn't find a...

A Chinese boy's middle finger was tightly trapped by a screw nut which was only taken off 16 hours later. The 2-year-old boy, of Tianshui, northwestern China's Shaanxi province, put the screw nut on his right middle finger at 8pm on June 9th, and couldn't take it off after visiting different hospitals. The next morning, 14 hours after the incident, the mother, Mrs. Li, had to call the local fire fighting office for help. Considering the potential danger of using electric cutting machinery on the boy, fire fighters inserted a screw driver in between the nut and the finger and sawed through the top of the nut with human force. A young Chinese boy managed to get his middle finger tightly trapped in a screw nut - and which could only be taken off after 16 hours of frantic efforts.

The 2-year-old boy, of Tianshui, northwestern China's Shaanxi province, put the nut on his right middle finger one evening and couldn't get it off again, even after visiting several different hospitals.

The next morning, 14 hours after the incident, the mother, Mrs. Li, had to call the local firefighters for help.

"When we arrived, the boy's finger had turned purple in color. If the nut had not been taken off immediately, the boy's finger may have had to be amputated," said a spokesman of the office.

Considering the potential danger of using electric cutting machinery on the boy, firefighters inserted a screw driver in between the nut and the finger and sawed through the top of the nut by hand.

During the cutting, fire fighters used every means to divert the attention of the crying baby, like making weird faces, letting him play with toys, and singing kids' songs.

The farmer who brought us Britain's biggest bullock has found another record breaker - measuring 6ft 3in tall.
Arthur Duckett, 78, reckons massive Field Marshall, his six-year-old Charolet bull, weighing in at 1,360 kilos will be crowned the nations biggest. Arthur, a farmer, from Burnham-on-sea, Somerset, immediately saw the bull's potential, and said it will put on 300 kilos in the next year. He bought the white bullock two years ago and decided to keep it as a pet when he realised it was a one-off.
Two years ago Arthur and his wife Helen broke records with their 6ft 5in bull Colonel, who weighed 3,500lbs. The Colonel and Field Marshall are kept in a 22-acre field on Arthur's farm, and is in good company as he shares the plot with a 5ft 6in tall Highland steer called The Captain. 717981h

Vehicles create clouds of dust on a highway through the deforested region of the south of Brazil's Amazonian state of Para, Cacoal, Brazil, Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004. About one-fifth of the state, which borders Bolivia, has been deforested since intensive settlement began in the 1970s. The main highway was paved in the 1960s, and satellite maps show, there is a direct link between road construction and forest destruction. As roads improve, migration increases and forests are cleared to make way for ranches and towns. (FOTO: DUKAS/WORLDPICTURENEWS)

GERMAN PRISONERS WORK ON MOTTINGHAM HOUSING ESTATE

German prisoners of war are being used to lay drains and prepare the site of a new pre-fabricated housing estate at Mottingham, kent. The British building trades have been protesting against this use of German man power, but in view of the urgency of the housing problem and the shortage of British workers available, the authorities have seen fit to make German ex servicemen rebuild something of what they had destroyed in the war.
