The midday scene at the Bank today after a new system of electromatic vehicle-actuated traffic signals has been inaugurated by the Lord Mayor of London. Usually, at this hour this notorious traffic "black spot" is congested with vehicles blocked nose to tail. This picture shows that the new signals provide the answer to one of London's major traffic problems.
