Quality Street chocolates launch a white chocolate just for John Lewis.
Throughout its 85-year history, minor tweaks to Quality Street have caused uproar or adulation. Old varieties are scrapped, new ones are introduced and, in an attempt to end family feuds, the brand recently began offering personalised pick-n-mix tins.

Amy Winehouse has received an affectionate tribute - in the form of a portrait made from pills.

Using 5,000 multicoloured tablets, artist Jason Mecier created the 17 x 21 inch medicinal likeness to honour the singer's short life.

The San Francisco artist builds collages from unusual materials that suit the personality of the subject. His wacky portraits of celebrities have been created using junk, pills and candy.

Amazingly, Jason often uses items donated by the stars themselves to complete his pieces.

His work has seen Lady Gaga made of trash, Kim Kardasian composed of candy, and Courtney Love composed of pills.

Nicolas Cage is made of beer bottles and car parts, while Donald Trump is cellphones and money.
