    In Warsaw, Poland, on August 15, 2025, airborne troops with the Polish flag appear in the sky during a military parade along a highway for Polish Armed Forces Day. On August 15, Polish Army Day is celebrated. It is established in memory of the victorious Battle of Warsaw in 1920, fought during the Polish-Bolshevik War. On this occasion, celebrations and picnics with the participation of soldiers are organized throughout the country.     President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, addresses participants and spectators during the Armed Forces Day parade, held to honor Poland’s 1920 victory over the Soviet Red Army and to mark the 105th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw, in Warsaw, Poland, on August 15, 2025.

    United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and his entourage arrived in Naqoura, a town on Lebanon's Mediterranean coast about 4 km north of the Israeli border and 100 km south of Beirut in two white United Nations helicopters. Annan and his team visited the home to headquarters of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon, known as UNIFIL, where they had lunch with the troops.

    Congresswoman Mary Bono (CA-45) former wife of Congressman and entertainer Sony Bono, attends a hearing in which Cher, appears in a congressional hearing of the House Armed Services Committee, Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee on the upgrading of military helmets used by US troops. Cher donated 300,000 dollars of her own money to the group, Operation Helmet, which supplies US troops, free of charge, kits which make the helmet suspension system ungraded to better protect the soldier against blasts and impact, which causes head damage.
