Cult leader Manson has just been granted, on November 7, a Kings County licence to marry 26-year-old Afton Elaine Burton, known as "Star." She regularly visits him in prison and moved to Corcoran, California, where he is incarcerated, from her Midwestern home nine years ago to be near Manson and has pleaded his innocence. Manson was found guilty of involvement in seven murders, including actress Sharon Tate, and was later found guilty of two more killings.

He was allegedly high on cocaine when security staff at the Sirhowy Arms Hotel in Caerphilly, south Wales, came across him eating one of her eyeballs and chewing on her face. Police arrived to find the victim unconscious with terrible facial injuries and used a taser to tackle Williams. He died shortly after being tasered when he became unresponsive to efforts to revive him. Cerys Yemm also died from her injuries. Williams had only been released from prison two weeks earlier after serving half of a five-year term for a violent attack on his partner

May 24, 2014 - Isla Vista, California USA: Investigators at the scene were a drive-by shooter left seven people dead Friday night, including the attacker, and seven others wounded, authorities said Saturday.

Investment banker Gary Clarence, pictured with his twin three-year-old sons Max and Ben, who were found murdered at his GBP 2 million home in New Malden, south London. South African Mr Clarence was due to fly back to Britain after the bodies of his three disabled children, the three-year-old twin boys (pictured here) and his four-year-old daughter Olivia, were found at the property at 9pm on Tuesday. The children had "life-limiting genetic conditions" which left them unable to walk and speak. Their mother, Tania Clarence, 42, has been charged with murdering her three children and is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates Court tomorrow (Friday). The UVU North Pole marathon - 10 Apr 2014
The 2014 UVU North Pole marathon which took place at a temperature of minus 30 degrees. Run over the classic 42.195km (26.2 miles) marathon distance it is described as the world's coldest marathon. Held at the top of the world it is also the worlds most remote marathon race. The men's race was won by Michael Wardian of USA (not pictured) with a time of 4:07:40 hrs.
