A man turns to avoid a bull during "recortadores" bullfight in Zaragoza, Spain Monday October 12, 2015. The recortadores bullfight is an ancient tradition where the men try to dodge the bull without a cape or sword and the ones who dare to get closer to the bull and show less fear are the winners. Haunting Photos Highlight The Ebola Crisis In Liberia
Kieran Kesner is a 23-year-old photojournalist who spent eight days covering the the plight of those infected with Ebola in Liberia.

His striking photographs capture the plight of the Liberian community, who can only hope and pray not to catch the devastating disease.

During his stay Kesner also photographed the burial teams and the MSF doctors (Doctors without Borders).

The current outbreak in West Africa is the largest and most severe outbreak of Ebola since the virus was first discovered in 1976.

Since the first case was noted in March 2014, there have been more cases and deaths than previous outbreaks combined; the diseases has already taken over 3,000 lives.

On August 27, 2014 Kesner boarded Delta airlines flight 2608 ready to begin his first international assignment.

"After four layovers, I arrived at the airport in Liberia. The plane came to a rough landing as it skidded to a stop on the decaying runway.

"Upon exiting passengers were met with an army of people rushing to take our temperature with thermometers shaped like guns aimed at our heads. I would soon come to realize these thermometers might as well be real guns pointed to our heads."

After washing his hands with chlorine, Kesner proceeded through the cacophony of customs where his passport was quickly stamped and he was sent on his way.

"Over the next week I would come face to face with Ebola; photographing the sick, dead and every stage of the virus in between. Realizing the severity of this epidemic that sets a country back after steadily making gain...

Flights of Fancy: Paul Goldstein's 'In The Air' Wildlife Photography
For photographers, capturing animals in the wild is an art that can take years to master.

But wildlife photographer Paul Goldstein has taken his work to new heights by shooting animals frozen in the air as they leap.

His work sees stunning images showing jumping animals ranging from wildebeest to polar bears.

They include a dramatic flying fight between a baboon and a leopard and the cute, bouncy interaction between a pair of serval kittens.

Paul explains: "Mammals and indeed penguins cannot fly, it would be a physiological miracle if it occurred, but it is wonderful to see them try. It also is rare, which is why I like photographing it as it is a huge challenge. If the shot is successful it always elicits a good response.

"For the money shot there must be no part of the animal attached to a tree/branch/ice or rock. It does not matter if it is an 'air's breath' away, but just nothing touching.

"Air looms high on my agenda, I am obsessed by it, it is exciting photography and frequently original."

Describing the moment the baboon ambushed the leopard, Paul says: "Prime Mates? I don't think so, these are mortal enemies and a whole troop of baboons had 'treed' this young male leopard in the Masai Mara.

"Eventually they left, except one male that waited for the predators descent and jumped out at him. It gave the leopard a good dry slap then the leopard legged it and vaporised in seconds as is their wont.

"Whilst leopards will sometimes kill single baboons, they will avoid whole troops assiduously as they can turn on them. One of my favourite ever photos."

Regarding the polar bear cubs in Spitsbergen, Paul says: "What a morning. Seven polar bears in four hours many nautical miles from land in Spitsbergen. These two cub...

Unusual Stamp Design Tears Kate And Wills Apart
A new royal wedding stamp featuring Prince William and Kate Middleton has an awkward feature - a perforated line down the middle which splits the couple up.

The unusual stamp, officially released in New Zealand to mark the young couple's wedding later this month, can be torn in half and used as two stamps.

Together the Royal Wedding stamps are worth 5.80 NZ dollars, but separated Kate is a 2.40 dollars stamp and Prince William a costlier 3.40 dollars.

It is thought the stamp, which went on sale last week and is designed by New Zealand Post, will now become a collectors' item.

Editor of Gibbons Stamp Monthly Hugh Jefferies said the stamp is "embarrassing" and had not been designed well.

He said: "Whoever designed this will have egg on their face and someone's head will roll.

"I'm sure they didn't mean to ominously suggest the couple could be easily separated, it's just a very bizarre design.

"This kind of thing has happened in the past. When Charles and Diana got married, the Australian Royal stamp had the couple facing away from each other, which caused much criticism.

"In most countries Buckingham Palace will have to approve the design. Perhaps they were shown it without the perforation down the middle.

"When something like this happens the critics love it and the post office responsible can't stand it. It's also unusual that the two stamps are worth different values.

"They are a lovely looking couple and the stamps stand alone well, it's just unfortunate the separation line is between them."

He added: "There is quite a big take up with collectors for this type of thing and no doubt they will have a wry smile on their faces when they file this stamp in their books."
