Some 15,000 Orthodox Christian pilgrims carried crosses, drank holy water and prayed on Grabarka Mount in eastern Poland they believe to be sacred in a colourful celebration of their faith and identity in the overwhelmingly Roman Catholic country. The Holy Hill of Grabarka, believed to have saved people from a cholera epidemic in the 18th century, is the most sacred Orthodox site in Poland and every year draws crowds for the Transfiguration of Christ festival on Aug. 18-19.

Photographer Billy Macrae travelled to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to see how the city had changed since gaining independence in 1990.
Macrae found that the capital city was a place well and truly in transition.
The talented photographer spent much of the autumn and winter of 2015 in Ulaanbaatar.
He found a fascinating mix of cultures on display, and a positive atmosphere on the streets as people celebrated the anniversary of the founding of Ulaanbaatar.

ZAMBIA
A girl with braids in Mukuni Village. Zabmia. The Mikuni Village is about 30 minutes from Livingstone, home to approximately 1100 Leya people. It's a very peaceful, civil, and clean village founded in the 13th century. We strolled throughout the village, learning about how they live, work, and commune with one another. They build their own tools, crafts, and homes. Their crafts are sold at the end of the village tours where you really have to spice up your bargaining skill! Mukuni Village is an authentic tribal village where thousands of people live and work. In July of each year the Leya people partake in the colorful Lwiindi Ceremony. The local people believe the spirits of their ancestors still dwell in the gorges of the Falls and during the Lwiindi, they offer sacrifices to them for rain. Libya Desert Journey
Trekkers walk 6 hours daily through the dunes and volcanic rock formations of Jebel Acacus, Libya on Tuesday, March 18, 2008.
Libya is the country to visit in order to see the Sahara Desert in all its splendor. It sounds like an oxymoron, but ever since Colonel Qaddafi surprised the world announcing that Libya would give up its weapons programs, it has become one of the most politically stable countries in the region and thus an ideal place to travel to in order to see the wonders of the desert. And the Libyan Desert has it all. Marvel at the forbidding volcanic rock walls of the Jebel Acacus, climb dunes for as far as the eye can see, float in the salt water of a desert oasis and behold the ancient wonders of Leptis Magna, once the largest Roman city in Africa.
