Sabha Rasool, 26, a Kashmiri student studying in Iran, speaks to the media at his residence in Srinagar after being evacuated from Iran, in Jammu and Kashmir, on June 19, 2025. Over 110 Indian students, including 90 students from the Kashmir Valley, return to India early Thursday morning from Iran, following a successful evacuation under Operation Sindhu. The students, who are stuck amid the escalating tensions in Iran, are first flown to Armenia, then to Doha, before landing in Delhi. Their safe return brings much-needed relief to their families. Meanwhile, Israel's military states Iran launches a barrage of ballistic missiles at Israel overnight. Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency services, reports dozens of injured across Israel, with some in critical condition. (Photo by Firdous Nazir/NurPhoto) -

Rock salt freighter stuck in ice in Buffalo
January 23, 2025 - Buffalo, New York, United States: A lake freighter ship is stuck in ice at the mouth of Lake Erie near Downtown Buffalo. Ironically, the vessel Manitoulin, which was returning to Michigan after completing a routine delivery of rock salt, which is used to melt ice and snow on city streets became immobilized by thickening ice in the lake due to sub zero weather conditions. The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. on January 22. Another vessel will attempt to free the stranded freighter sometime within the next few days. At this point all crew members on the ship are reported to be OK. (Lori Cappellazzo /Polaris) (FOTO:DUKAS/POLARIS)

Alex Hill as Billy
It’s the EURO 2020 Final at Wembley and Billy’s gone viral for sticking a flare up his arse!
Why I Stuck A Flare Up My Arse For England is a blisteringly funny new play that comes to London directly from a sell-out, five-star Edinburgh Festival run. Written and performed by Alex Hill, it asks what it means to belong to a club that you live for.
Billy and his best pal Adam are die-hard football fans. It’s how they spend every weekend, without fail. It’s their escape, their religion and their life. But when they encounter a new group of mates, they start to take their support one step further.
