'Seriously Good Moustaches' photo series marking the start of Movember, London, UK - 27 Oct 2016
Movember, the month formerly known as November, is back and the Movember Foundation is putting the meaning behind the Mo with a series of images featuring well known stars from the world of sport, music, TV and comedy.
Mark Cavendish, Laura Whitmore, Dylan Hartley, Ben Miller, Gok Wan, Mark Foster, Jack Savoretti, The Vaccines and Foxes have all donned an illustrated Mo, each highlighting a reason why the current state of men?s health is in crisis.
Too many men are dying too young; on average four years younger than women. For men this isn't good news.
The Movember Foundation is encouraging men and women to sign up this Movember and grow a Mo, commit to a Move physical challenge or throw or go to a Movember event to raise funds for men's health and stop men dying too young.
Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing this health crisis, and without people talking, taking action and giving money, nothing will change.
Owen Sharp, Movember Foundation CEO says: 'There is a lot being done, but it's not happening fast enough to have real impact. The Movember Foundation is uniquely placed to address the crisis at a global level. We want people to know why the Mo is important and why the challenge of growing a moustache is worthwhile.'
The Movember Foundation wants our men alive, well and enjoying life.
With money raised, the Foundation has funded over 1,200 game-changing programmes in prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide prevention around the world, whilst positively challenging the way in which men's health issues are researched and addressed.
Join the fight at Movember.com and sign up or donate to help stop men dying too young.

Duckling killed by Cambridge University rowing crew, UK - 10 Jun 2016
*Full story: http://www.rexfeatures.com/nanolink/sfi5
Callous Cambridge University students DECAPITATED a baby duckling as they took part in their May Bumps college races. Hundreds of spectators looked on in horror as the eight-strong crew rowed right through a family of ducks on the River Cam - killing one of them with their oars. The student rowers were heading to the starting line of the annual 200-year-old event on Friday (June 10) when the mother duck and her 10 babies swam past. Onlookers, who were watching from the river bank, yelled at the college team to move out of their way, but instead the rowers ploughed straight through the feathered family. The baby ducklings became tangled in the oars and one of the brood was killed as the rowers raced ahead.

HAVE THEY OR HAVEN'T THEY? - PLASTIC FANTASTIC
Have they or haven't they? That's the age old question when it comes to celebs and plastic surgery.
Fame can often be a young person's game so it's little surprise that some stars decide that the act of growing old gracefully needs a little help.
A nip here and a tuck there to give nature a helping hand is practically de rigueur when you live your life on a cinema screen or in the glare of a paparazzo's camera.
These stars have all prompted speculation due to their changing faces - from nipped in nostrils and plumped up pouts, to ironed out wrinkles and crow's feet corrections.
Some go for the subtle look, leaving it unclear whether their fresh new look is the work of a scalpel or simply 'healthy living'.
Such coyness means that snaps of stars such as Goldie Hawn, Madonna, Meg Ryan and Posh Spice are regularly speculated over.
Whether the rest of these stars have or haven't gone under the knife? It's between them and their surgeon.
One thing is for sure though - these celebs are now all looking suspiciously plastic fantastic.
But can you really expect any different when it comes to the knifestyles of the rich and famous?
