The details emerged during a hearing at Birmingham County Court in which Judge Emma Kelly jailed her for two weeks for breaching a court order that barred her from making "loud sex noises." Birmingham City Council took legal action after a neighbour complained that at 5am on January 29 she breached "paragraph 3 of the order" when "Gemma started screaming and shouting whilst having sex, which woke us up. This lasted 10 minutes." Miss Wale, who named her boyfiend only as "Wayne," also breached the order by arguing with her boyfriend, swearing at a neighbour, "banging around the house" and "running around in the property." The judge said: " I am satisfied that during the course of the early hours of 29 Janauary 2015, at around 5am, the defendant was guilty of screaming and shouting whilst having sex at a level of noise which caused nuisance or annoyance to (a neighbour)."

[If this was a cat, it would be purring! From the contented expression of the face of this whale, it is thoroughly enjoying being gently petted. But dreamily luxuriating in the attentions of humans and being treated just like the family pet is not usually in the nature of these ocean giants. The strange quirk in their behaviour occurs in the warm waters off Mexico's Baja Peninsula, where female grey whales have formed a unique relationship with local fishermen who once hunted them to near extinction. Previously known as 'Devil Fish' because of their ferocious attacks on boats, their behaviour changed dramatically after a whaling ban in the 1970s. The grey whales have now started nuzzling up to fishing boats, as revealed on TV tonight (Sunday). They seem to appreciate being touched and patted by fishermen. The grey whales also seek out tourist craft and allow their faces, mouths and tongues to be massaged as they bump up beside the boats. The whale-petting phenomenon is shown in the programme 'Deep Thinkers' (PLEASE MUST CREDIT) in the BBC1 series 'Ocean Giants', to be broadcast tonight (August 21) at 9pm. Biologist Dr. Toni Frohoff, who has studied marine mammal behaviour for 20 years, says: The female whales lead their lives here, give birth and raise their young. Yet they seem to have a need to react with us humans on the surface. Nowhere else in the world can you see this sort of activity.]
