'Declare Yourself' - Rebirth of Citizenship inauguration event at the Renaissance Hotel, Washington DC, America - 18 Jan 2009
Following Sunday's (Jan 18) huge celebrations and festivities at the 'We Are One' pre-inaugural concert outside Washington's Lincoln Memorial, the party carried on into the night at the Declare Yourself organisation's 'Rebirth of Citizenship' event. Celebrities who had lent their names and faces to the organisation's campaign attended the event, including Jessica Alba, Jamie Foxx, Hayden Panettiere and John Legend. Also present were Lindsay Lohan, looking skeletally gaunt, alongside her DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
Declare Yourself is a non-partisan, non-profit organisation that was created to encourage young Americans to register and vote in the presidential primaries and 2008 presidential election.
