Shawn King, the widow of late TV icon Larry King, steps out with cuts and bruises on her face as she is spotted out and about for the FIRST TIME since his death three and a half years ago. The 64-year-old singer and actress, who is mother to the former coupleÍs two sons Chance, 25 and Cannon, 24, has kept an extremely low profile since her late husbandÍs death from sepsis back on January 23, 2021, at the age of 87. Since then however, Shawn has been embroiled in messy legal battles after vowing to fight for a share of LarryÍs $2 million estate, which was originally ordered to be divided equally amongst his five surviving children. She has also sued a former producer on Larry King Live, her husbandÍs CNN show, who claims to have witnessed Shawn abuse the iconic journalist whilst he was still alive. Shawn maintains that she and Larry had reconciled before his passing, which followed 23 years of marriage. For her outing on June 26, 2024 Shawn ? who appeared to be moving house as she instructed removal trucks who were taking away luggage ? wore a large straw hat to shield herself from the California heat, jeans and a striped gray shirt. She appeared to have a cut on her chin and what looked like bruising on one of her eyes.

Each time our eyes move, our ears make an imperceptible squeaking noise.

Researchers have now developed a method of telling where a person is looking by analysing those sounds.

And it’s hoped the study findings will give a better understanding of human perception, possibly leading to more accurate and informative hearing tests.

Although humans do not hear the sounds, they can be picked up by a highly sensitive microphone placed in the ear canal.

One theory is the sounds happen because eye movements trigger the brain to contract the middle ear muscles to dampen loud noises, or the hair cells in the ears to amplify quiet ones.

A team at Duke University, North Caroline, in the USA, believes this arrangement could help humans make sense of surroundings, by automatically adjusting the sensitivity of hearing based on what is being looked at.
