High-end travellers are being offered the opportunity to spend the night in one of the world’s most unforgiving places—the North Pole.April, for one month only, a travel company will open up the pop-up North Pole Igloo Hotel at Earth’s northernmost point in 2020 where guest will get the opportunity to spend a night in an igloo beneath the stars. Guests will be put up in heated glass igloos. But a once-in-a-lifetime experience like this doesn’t come cheap with a night-long stay at the hotel costing €95,000 EurosInaccessible for most of the year, the North Pole can be reached by helicopter in April and by ship during June and July. About 1,000 people visit the area each year, but they’re usually coming armed with extensive extreme weather survival gear, including tents. Scandinavian company Luxury Action will take guests via a two-hour helicopter ride. There will be 10 heated igloos, each of which includes an en suite bathroom.
OPS: Arctic scenes guests will be able to experience first hand at the North Pole Igloo Hotel.
