An AI-powered robot tennis coach that glides around the court and responds to an opponent’s movement in real time has been developed.
The Tenniix Pro is trained on more than 8,000 hours of professional coaching and gameplay.
The mobile device can move around the court ball with a wheeled base that can be removed.
It can fire off shots from high lobs to baseline groundstrokes and drop shots as well as firing off 120km/h serves.
It will adjust to a player’s level and is fully customisable with more than 1,000 drills/
An optional module comes with a wristband voice-control device and an app that stores a player’s data gathered from the robot's assessment.
There are three versions of the Tenniix— basic, Ultra and Pro.
The latter two come with a vision module that sits atop the robot and displays real-time feedback as well as voice control
All versions hold 100 balls and are fitted with a 1080p camera for real-time tracking and responding.
