FEATURE - Romantisch: Verlassener Leuchtturm am "Ende der Welt" in Aniva auf der Insel Sachalin
A view of the abandoned lighthouse Aniva on the rock Sivuch off the southern coast of the Russian Far Eastern island of Sakhalin. A tour to the Aniva lighthouse. The lighthouse is 31 meter high, the light is at 40 meters above seas level. The lighthouse was built between 1937 and 1939 to a design by Japanese engineer Miura Shinobu. The lighthouse is a round concrete tower with a small wing on an oval base. The tower has 9 floors; the ground floor used to house a diesel room and a battery room. The first floor and the wing housed a kitchen and a food warehouse; a radio cabin, a control booth and a watch room resided on the second floor. The third, the fourth, and the fifth floors were occupied by habitable rooms for 12 people. From 1990 through 2006, the lighthouse operated autonomously; in 2006, all the technical equipment was taken away, and the lighthouse was closed and then looted. Renovation works were scheduled to start in 2015, but have not begun yet. Sakhalin Region, Russia, on June 14, 2020. Photo by Sergei Krasnoukhov/TASS/ABACAPRESS.COM (FOTO: DUKAS/ABACA)

Geneve - le 06 juillet 2011
Geneve partage les rives du lac Leman entre espaces verts et immeubles rigides. Le canton de Geneve est une veritable enclave dans les frontieres francaises.
Geneva is built on the shores of the Leman Lake and offers righteous buildings and a lot of green area. The canton of Geneva is enclosed into the french borderlines.
