FBI releases images of suspect in Charlie Kirk assassination
September 10, 2025 - Orem, Utah, United States: Suspect escaping from the roof after firing. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released additional images of a “person of interest” in the shooting death of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk who was shot once while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University today. The male suspect dressed head to toe in dark clothing was seen running on a roof overlooking the event venue, jumping to the ground and running away. The images are posted with the message: "We are asking for the public's help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. 1-800-CALL-FBI". A rifle recovered in the hunt of Kirk's assassin contained ammo engraved with “transgender and anti-fascist ideology.” The weapon — an imported .30-06-caliber Mauser bolt-action rifle — was discovered wrapped in a towel by investigators in a wooded area following the killing of Kirk.
