Henry, aged 112 years was presented with the doctorate by the Universitys Chancellor, Lord Alan West, former First Sea Lord, for his contribution to Britain and its allies during two world wars, and his continuing charity work, especially connected with veteran servicemen and women

The ship is so huge that she can't anchor in Portsmouth Harbour because the water is too shallow. Due to this, the Nimitz-class ship is anchored one mile from the coast of Stokes Bay and she will remain there until Wednesday.
