A man jumps the Glastonbury Festival wall without a ticket by flying into the festival in a light propellor-driven motorised aircraft, landing in next to the Stone Circle at 9pm to cheers from the watching festival goers. Festival officials were quick on scene confiscating the aircraft but allowing the man to walk free. Asked for a quote by the photographer the man said 'I need a beer'.

The library was funded by the American charity Friends of Mek?ele Blind School, who also bought and delivered a large number of braille textbooks. These range from topics including American Heritage, African Geography and English Language. Some textbooks are primarily braille, while others include written text alongside braille, allowing the sighted teachers to work collaboratively with the blind students. It is the only braille library in the whole of Tigray, and so the children are very fortunate to be able to use it
World Sight Day, Mek?ele Blind School, Ethiopia
Mek'ele Blind School in Ethiopia is home to around 100 children, whose companionship and passion for their education is inspiring to encounter.
Photographer Tom Pullen visited the school last year, which lies on the outskirts of the city of Mek'ele in the vast northern Tigray region of Ethiopia.
