Make up artist transforms herself into famous faces, London Britain, June 2014

Ancient mummy design
Make Up Artist Transforms Herself Into Famous Faces
A London mother-of-two has the ability to transform herself into Wayne Rooney.
In support of England's debut at the world cup, Maria Malone-Guerbaa also turned herself into World Cup goal-scoring footballer Daniel Sturridge.
Maria used only make up and face paints to create the illusion of Sturridge and Rooney on her face.
She is also able to give herself a picture-perfect likeness of other famous faces including A-list stars Angeline Jolie, Morgan Freeman and The Queen.
After putting her passion on hold when she had her family, the 40-year-old's work has become a hit after she put it online.
Maria, who lives with husband Billy and children Sophia, 12, and Adam, 10, has since been invited to teach at a prestigious make-up event in Miami in 2015.
What makes her face painting technique so unusual, is that unlike other special effects make up artists, she does not rely on any prosthetic materials to create her 'faces'.
Maria only uses paint and her natural talent to create celebrity faces, footballers, zombies, 3D effects and even gory cuts.
As soon as she set up her make up page, her lifelike face painting went viral on Facebook.
Maria's transformations, which have become known as 'famous faces' to her fans, also caught the eye of the International Make Up Artist Trade Show- commonly known as IMATS, who have invited her to be a guest speaker this summer. (June 27-29)
The make up artist, who is originally from Limerick, has always had a talent and passion for art, and particularly enjoyed pencil drawing and charcoal sketches as a child.
After finishing school she applied to Limerick Art College, however Maria ended up turning down her place.
She explains: "I felt at the time that there wasn't anywhere for me to go...

Asphalt Renaissance by Kurt Wenner 3D street art book - Dec 2011
Mandatory Credit: Photo by Kurt Wenner / Rex Features (1517401ak)
'Asphalt Renaissance': Kurt Wenner 3D Street Art Book
A new book details the amazing 3D street art of Kurt Wenner.
The artist has been impressing passer-by's for years and his latest drawings are the best yet.
The former NASA space illustrator turned street artist uses a piece of string to measure fixed points between the viewing location and painting to create three-dimensional drawings.
'Asphalt Renaissance' displays hundreds of images of Wenner's drawings spanning over his 25-year career. He started to write the book ten years ago when he realised there was nothing published about the art form.
Using his homemade pastels Wenner's most recent works bring Spiderman swinging from the buildings in Japan, a rainforest on London's South Bank and a scene from adventure horror film The Mummy film in Waterloo station.
Wenner's intricately detailed large-scale drawings can take up to seven days to complete sometimes longer depending on the weather.
Kurt explained: "The pieces look real because they are calculated to be perfectly and mathematically accurate. It's exactly how they would look if the objects in my paintings were actually there."
His favourite work is the 'Dies Irae' one of his earliest pieces that established the art form and has since become iconic on the internet.
The 52-year-old took up street painting in 1982 after he had given up his job at NASA and travelled to Rome to learn more about visual art.
He used chalk and pastels to decorate the streets of Rome and to fund his travel and study.
Kurt said: "Pavement art like this began in Rome in the late renaissance period so it's been around for 100's of years.
"My favourite subjects to draw are from classical mythology and religion."
His book Asphalt Renaissance is published by Sterling Innovation.

(110315) -- TAIZHOU, March 15, 2011 (Xinhua) -- A female corpse of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) is seen soaked in yellowish underground water in a coffin in Taizhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province, March 1, 2011. The well-preserved 1.5-meter-long female corpse, whose clothes and cotton-padded boots remained intact and even hair was not lost, was the first disinterred among the three Ming dynasty coffins unearthed in Taizhou on Feb. 28, 2011. The body and fabric had not decayed because the coffins were sealed and airtight thanks to the grout made of glutinous rice and lime which muffled up the coffin. The corpse was also found soaked in a yellow liquid and experts believed the liquid, proven to be underground water that had seeped into the coffin, kept the moisture and temperature at a certain level to preserve the body. The tomb was identified as a burial during the Middle and Late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) following the grave customs. (Xinhua/Gu Xiangzhong) (lfj)
