December 10, 2016 - Istanbul, Turkey - Ambulances arrive at the scene after explosions near the Besiktas Vodaphone Arena on December 10, 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey. According to reports, at least 13 people were killed after explosions believed to have been targeting riot police were set off near to the Besiktas Vodaphone Arena. The car bomb exploded in the heart of Istanbul on late December 10, wounding around 20 police officers, Turkey's interior minister said, quoted by the official Anadolu news agency.
