November 25, 2016 - York - The advent wreath is suspended beneath the centarl tower of York Minster today. Measuring 4m in diameter it's believed to be the largest suspended wreath in any church or cathedral in the UK - and possibly the world. The five candles weighing 4kg's each are lit each Sunday of Advent beginning on Sunday 27 November. The fifth candle is lit on Christmas Day.
