Cars in a ditch caused by the embankment collapse
River Arno embankment collapses, Florence, Italy - 25 May 2016
A section of embankment by the River Arno in Florence has collapsed. The incident sent part of the road and at least 20 parked cars tumbling into a newly formed ditch about 200m (650ft) in length and 7m (23ft) across. The suspected cause of the collapse is the failure of a large water pipe and it is thought that no one has been injured
