OLYMPIA 2016 - Sicherheitsvorkehrungen in Rio de Janeiro
July 31, 2016 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: The Maracana stadium was the site of the dress rehearsal of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games, which will open August 5. 3,000 participants attended the rehearsal. The Maracana has become the face of the Rio Olympics. The army patrolled around the stadium, in the subway entrances, and on the streets surrounding the stadium. The entrance gates metal insulation were decorated with patterned green plates with the Olympic rings and the logo of Rio-2016. Until last Saturday night (30), these cards were not in place.
