Text messages obtained by Entertainment Tonight in late April further revealed Hadid ? who is known for his staunch pro Palestine beliefs ? accused Torres of selling out his morals in return for financial backing. He later posted an Instagram statement clarifying that he ñneeded to apologizeî. But it was just the latest example of Hadid courting controversy as in March he branded President Biden a ïZionist criminalÍ and claimed the U.S. President will be hunted down like ïThe NazisÍ for his stance on Palestine and the Israeli conflict. For his outing on July 1, 2024 Hadid sported his trademark tan and dapper hair style, wearing an all-white summer outfit along with fancy designer shades and shoes without socks. Controversial real estate tycoon Mohamed Hadid, 75, is seen for the first time since he was exposed for sending allegedly racist and homophobic messages to a New York Congressman. The father of supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid became embroiled in a vicious war of words with U.S. Rep. Ritchie Torres, whom he reportedly accused of being “worse than the rats of the New York sewage system†after taking offense to the politician’s stance over the Israeli-Palestine conflict. Text messages obtained by Entertainment Tonight in late April further revealed Hadid – who is known for his staunch pro Palestine beliefs – accused Torres of selling out his morals in return for financial backing. He later posted an Instagram statement clarifying that he “needed to apologizeâ€. But it was just the latest example of Hadid courting controversy as in March he branded President Biden a ‘Zionist criminal’ and claimed the U.S. President will be hunted down like ‘The Nazis’ for his stance on Palestine and the Israeli conflict. For his outing on July 1, 2024 Hadid sported his trademark tan and dapper hair style, wearing an all-white summer outfit along with fancy designer shades and shoes without socks. Thousands of lives could be saved if safe rooms were set up in UK cities where people could be supervised while they get high, the world's largest review of the effectiveness of drug-consumption rooms and overdose-prevention centres (OPCs) has found.
The part-government-funded study also found the facilities could slash the transmission of fatal diseases, as well as reduce drug litter, the pressure on ambulance callouts and the burden on hospitals.
Similar facilities already operate in France, the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Greece, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Mexico, Iceland and Colombia.
