July 28,2025, Sisaket, Thailand: A view of damage inside an evacuated house that was destroyed in Sisaket province after it was hit by a BM-21 rocket fired by the Cambodian military in Kantharalak district. Thailand and Cambodia exchanged heavy artillery fire as fighting extended on the fifth day, with both sides accusing each other of initiating the exchange in a disputed border area. Over 100,000 people have been forced to flee their homes in several Thai provinces bordering Cambodia as a result of clashes between Thai and Cambodian forces which have resulted in at least 14 Thai civilians and 8 soldiers killed.
