Jack Fisher with his train-shaped hedge, Retford, Nottinghamshire, Britain - 23 Sep 2010

Full Steam Ahead For Topiary Train
All aboard the hedgerow express.
A gardener in Nottinghamshire has delighted locals by turning his hedge into a train.
Two years ago Jack Fisher, 72, set about transforming the hedge in front of his Retford home into the shape of a locomotive.
However, it didn't take long for eagle-eyed youngsters in the area to spot the resemblance to a famous train loved by children the world over.
As such the hedge fondly became known as Thomas to Jack's neighbours.
Inspired by the nickname he then went one step further by making a face out of plywood and fitting it to the front.
Now its full steam ahead for the topiary Thomas, which garners admiring glances from everyone who passes.
