I DREAM OF JEAN-IE!
Picture shows: ACtress SANDRA BULLOCK oozes sex appeal as she stands provocatively in red high heels, and wears incredibly tight jeans in this promo for her movie THE PROPOSAL. 2009.
Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, Colden Books, who forces her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her in order to avoid being deported to Canada. He grudgingly accepts, under the condition that he is promoted to the position of editor. When the government investigates, the two are forced to spend the weekend with his parents in Alaska in order to sell the lie. The family suggest they could marry the same weekend, and they reluctantly accept. They start to fall genuinely in love as they spend more and more time together. Because of this, during the wedding ceremony, Margaret decides she cannot do this to Andrew and confesses the business arrangement in front of everyone--including the immigration officer handling their case. She is then told that she has 24 hours to get back to Canada, and thus goes back to New York to pack her things. Upon doing so, however, Andrew shows up at the office and confesses his love for her in front of the entire office staff, proposing marriage all over again. [D-Man2010]
When high-powered book editor Margaret faces deportation to her native Canada, the quick-thinking exec declares that she's actually engaged to her unsuspecting put-upon assistant Andrew, who she's tormented for years. He agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own. The unlikely couple heads to Alaska to meet his quirky family and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another. With an impromptu wedding in the works and an immigration official on their tails, Margaret and Andrew reluctantly vow to stick to the plan despite the precarious consequences.

HAVE THEY OR HAVEN'T THEY? - PLASTIC FANTASTIC
Have they or haven't they? That's the age old question when it comes to celebs and plastic surgery.
Fame can often be a young person's game so it's little surprise that some stars decide that the act of growing old gracefully needs a little help.
A nip here and a tuck there to give nature a helping hand is practically de rigueur when you live your life on a cinema screen or in the glare of a paparazzo's camera.
These stars have all prompted speculation due to their changing faces - from nipped in nostrils and plumped up pouts, to ironed out wrinkles and crow's feet corrections.
Some go for the subtle look, leaving it unclear whether their fresh new look is the work of a scalpel or simply 'healthy living'.
Such coyness means that snaps of stars such as Goldie Hawn, Madonna, Meg Ryan and Posh Spice are regularly speculated over.
Whether the rest of these stars have or haven't gone under the knife? It's between them and their surgeon.
One thing is for sure though - these celebs are now all looking suspiciously plastic fantastic.
But can you really expect any different when it comes to the knifestyles of the rich and famous?

Penguins inspecting a camera on a tripod, Emperor Rookery, Weddell Sea, Antarctica, Polar Regions - 12 Nov 2009
NOSY PENGUINS ARE THE PERFECT POSERS
An inquisitive Emperor penguin looks through the viewfinder of a camera in Antarctica as two others appear to pose for a photograph in front of the lens.
Shocked photographer David Schultz, 53, snapped the cute trio exploring his camera and tripod when he left them on the snow and ice.
The fascinated penguins approached David each day as he hiked two kilometres from a helicopter base camp to the main Emperor rookery in the Weddell Sea.
The fluffy chicks, who were just a few months old, were also encouraged by their parents to approach and have a look around.
David snapped away from his camera on a tripod but backed away and continued taking photos with a second camera as the penguins moved towards him.
He was amazed when two of the penguins appeared to pose for a playful shot in the pristine white landscape while a third framed them from behind the lens.
David said: "The penguins were humbling, hilarious, extremely curious and wonderfully photogenic.
"While hiking from the helicopter base camp to the main Emperor penguin rookery it quickly became obvious the penguins were as interested in us as we were in them.
"The chicks, now several months old, would cluster together and if you lay on the ice and waited they would eventually come right up to you.
"In fact, at times it seemed the adults were giving them encouragement to investigate, and occasionally even a little nudge in my direction.
"Late one afternoon, the fifth day on the ice, I had watched as a few adults started walking my way.
"I had one camera set up on the tripod with another around my neck and I knew I might have the chance of capturing some intera...

After years away from the spotlight Whitney Houston took to the stage today to perform on Good Morning America. The Central Park concert, which was watched by thousands of fans, was the 45-year-old's first live show in seven years. It came as the singer puts the troubled last decade behind her in order to launch a new album, 'I Look To You'. However, the troubled diva was forced to apologise to the crowds because of her spotty vocals during her four track set. Acknowledging that she wasn't at her old best, she missed some notes and her voiced cracked in parts. "I'm sorry," she told the crowd, blaming her vocal problems on the Oprah Winfrey Show that she had taped a day earlier. "I've been talking for so long. ... I talked so much. ... When I'm talking, I should be singing." The singer's comeback comes after a troubled few years in which she has fought drug addiction and a troubled marriage.

A life-size naked statue of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie will soon be gracing the streets of Oklahoma City. The bronze sculpture, which shows the stunner breastfeeding, has been created by New York-based artist Daniel Edwards.
It will be unveiled in September, reports Contactmusic. The statue, titled Landmark for Breastfeeding, was inspired by the star's W magazine cover last year (08), in which she was snapped by boyfriend Brad Pitt breastfeeding her newborn twins.
Sandy Wilson of Phantom-Financial, the organisation behind the Jolie artwork, says, "We believe the statue sends a beautiful message by promoting the acceptance of public breastfeeding. Mothers should be encouraged to nurture their babies anywhere."

Charlie Sheen arrested for domestic violence against wife, Aspen, Colorado, America - 25 Dec 2009
Actor Charlie Sheen spent much of Christmas Day in an Aspen police cell after he apparently put a knife to his wife Brooke Mueller Sheen's throat and threatened to kill her in a fight that began over Christmas after she asked him for a divorce.
Arrest papers quote Mrs Sheen saying the 'Two and Half Men' star had straddled her on a bed and held her down.
An ambulance went to the house, but no-one was taken to hospital.
Police on Saturday said the star was suspected of assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He was released on $8,500 (GBP 5,300) bail.
Sheen will appear in court in Aspen, Colorado, on February 8.

KNIVES OUT AS JLO AND MADONNA BATTLE OVER SAME CHEF
It would seem that the knives are well and truly out between Madonna and Jennifer Lopez.
According to gossip the two stars are currently battling it out to try and secure the services of up-and-coming Italian chef Mattia Poggi.
The two dining room divas both allegedly want Poggi to cook for them at special events.
The crunch, however, and what has caused the argument to bubble to the surface, is the fact that these two occasions clash.
As such the handsome chef, who hosts his own TV show on Sky, can only work his magic for one of them.
JLo reportedly wants Poggi to bring his culinary talents to bear at a meal in June to celebrate her and husband Marc Anthony's sixth wedding anniversary.
Meanwhile, Madonna wants him on hand in her kitchen to whip up a delicious feast for her father Silvio Ciccone's birthday, also in June.
Poggi is a student of Gualtiero Marchesi who is considered the founder of the "new Italian cuisine," which is all about both healthy and tasty Italian fare.
This is allegedly not the first time the young chef has been in demand from a forceful female celebrity.
Previously, Naomi Campbell was apparently eager to get cooking lessons from him.
When it comes to the JLo/Maddona battle, just who will secure Poggi's services remains to be seen.
With neither star used to anything other than getting their own way let's hope no one gets burnt.
One thing that may cause Madonna to boil over, however, is the fact Poggi has already indicated a preference for JLo.
In the end whichever one can't stand the heat will simply have to get out the kitchen.

Much to the delight of his mentor Cheryl Cole, X Factor favourite Joe McElderry has won the singing competition - walking away with a GBP 1million recording contract. On the Saturday night the young singer performed with George Michael. Meanwhile, his fellow competitors performed duets with Robbie Williams and Michael Buble respectively. After a shaky start to his duet, Robbie also returned to sing solo. The Sunday night final extravaganza saw a host of guest performers take to the stage before Joe was eventually crowned X Factor king. Paul McCartney appeared singing "Drive My Car", joined by all of the 12 X Factor finalists. The former Beatle then moved to a piano to sing Bond anthem 'Live and Let Die'. Meanwhile, George Michael returned to sing 'December Song', Leona Lewis sang a version of Oasis hit 'Stop Cryin' Your Heart Out' and last year's contestants Alexandra Burke and JLS joined up for a special duet, performing her hit 'Bad Boys' and there's 'Everybody In Love'.

FANTASTIC FACE PAINT: ARTIST CREATES A NEW FACE EVERY DAY
Wacky artist James Kuhn wowed the world by painting his own face every day for a year.
Now the 47-year-old from Three Oaks, Michigan is doing it again - and his work is better than ever.
Imaginative James decided to come up with a new face every day, with designs ranging from cartoon characters to some of his favourite foods.
And one again he will put a smile on YOUR face with crazy caricatures of Superman, Charlie Brown, Wonder Woman and Evel Knievel.
There are also poignant tributes to Michael Jackson and Mollie Sugden, the British actress famous for her role as Mrs Slocombe in sitcom Are You Being Served?.
Other creations include a mummy, Freddie Kruger, a golf tee Santa and a rabid pit bull!
Some of James' creations are so convincing it is hard to work out where his facial features are under the make-up. Often the only clue is a solitary open eye.
Of his efforts, James says: "I had so much fun last year with the first 365 faces, that I am starting another 365 transformations, even though I must be crazy.
"This has been the hardest thing I have ever done - and the most rewarding.
"So many days I just did not feel like getting covered in paint. Sometimes I was sick or tired and last time I even had a fever of 102 degrees one day so I just couldn't do it.
"I did do one the next day and I was still so hot that the paint ran down my face.
"This time i give myself permission to take a few days off whenever I need too once in a while.
"But the entire experience stretched my imagination and forced me to reach deep inside for more and more ideas."

But although James has just passed hundred day mark of his second year of face pai...

A rare white tiger bursts out of the water at Singapore Zoo, Singapore - 28 Sep 2009
AMAZING PICTURES CATCH TIGER'S TEATIME
A rare white tiger lunges into water at feeding time to fight for food.
Female photographer Birte Person captured the astonishing shots of the white Bengal Tiger as it ate with five others.
White tigers are almost extinct and most of those that survive are in captivity. In the past century only 12 have been seen in the wild.
The white tiger is neither an albino nor a separate subspecies. They are born to a Bengal Tiger, or Panthera tigris, that has the recessive gene needed for white colouring.
This happens naturally once in every 10,000 births and results in a tiger with white fur, black stripes, blue eyes and a pink nose.
Birte, 62, from New South Wales, Australia, took the incredible pictures while on a visit to Singapore Zoo.
She said: "Singapore has one of the largest collections of white tigers in the world and runs a very efficient breeding and conservation program.
"When these photos were taken I was on my way to another conservation shoot in Asia but decided I had to stop and look at these magnificent creatures.
"They sit in anticipation on the rocks waiting for the first morsel to be thrown, then it is a huge lunge into the water by all of them.
"It carries on at a frantic pace until they all get some food.
"Because it happens so quickly it is very difficult to get photos like this - I'm very pleased with them."
Bengal Tigers are fully grown at two to three years of age and live for up to 15 years in the wild. Males weigh 200-230 kilograms and are up to three metres in length.
The females are 130-70 kilograms and up to 2.5 meters long.

Kylie Minogue was all smiles today and it's no wonder considering she has been officially named as Australia's best-known personal brand name. The pop princess has the most powerful branding of any famous Australian, according to a marketing and entertainment industry survey. This takes into account her music, acting, perfume and underwear ventures. Supermodel Elle Macpherson came in at second, followed by cricketer Shane Warne. The results were put together by 400 Australian marketers and advertisers who had to list who they believed had developed their careers to the point where they were more famous or profitable for being themselves than simply from being in their chosen fields.
