You can now brew your own fresh, personalised craft beer using a 3D printer.

Seattle startup PicoBrew has developed what it calls a "3D printer for beer", which can be used by anybody who wishes to brew craft beer in their own home

The 3D printer, called 'The Pico', has had enormous success on Kickstarter, raising over $1 million on pre-orders for its craft beer product.

PicoBrew said: "Pico is a fully automatic craft beer brewing appliance that allows anyone to brew 5L mini-kegs of professional quality craft beer.

"Pico leverages patented technology from PicoBrew's award-winning Zymatic product in a more compact and affordable form."

The three sisters when they went home from hospital
Identical triplets are colour-coded so their teachers can tell them apart, Pontypool, Wales, UK - 09 Sep 2016
A set of identical triplets have been colour-coded so that their nursery school teachers can tell them apart. The parents of three-year-olds Ffion, Maddison and Paige Gilbert first came up with the idea when the youngsters were babies so that they knew who had been fed. They used different coloured nail-varnish on their toes in order to differentiate between the trio. And now that the girls are starting nursery they are carrying the idea on, in the form of coloured headbands and bobbles, so that their teachers know who is who. Taking inspiration from their names, Ffion is fuschia, Maddison is mint and Paige is purple. According to mum Karen she's fully briefed the girls' teachers but if they ever get confused they can check with big sister Faye, seven, who goes to the same school. The triplets were conceived naturally from one egg.

REPORTAGE - Grossbritanniens erstes 'Passivhaus' steht in Camden
Fancy a light, warm, draft-free, fresh and airy house, with energy bills of less than
£100 a year? That's what we would all have if architect Justin Bere - who built London's
first fully certified passive house in 2009-10 - had his way. Called passivhaus in Germany, where the trend started, a passive house is built to exceptional standards of airtightness and is triple-glazed and super-insulated, with heat-exchange systems and solar panels, so that it requires almost no heating and has cleaner air inside than out.
As yet, very few British builders are trained in passive house construction. But if
Germany can do it, surely London can, tooÖ In Camden in 2009, property developer Malcolm Terry and his wife Fiona, an interior designer, wanted to build a brick house in an area of large, detached houses, but their planning application was rejected. The plot
they wanted to develop was at the end of a long lawn belonging to a house they owned.
With independent road access, it was a dream site, on which they had decided to build their retirement home. However, they had reckoned without Camden council being against building over lawns. Malcolm knew of Justin Bere's determination to build the first UK passive house, a trailblazer for ecological design nationwide. Camden was interested in this, so when the Terrys hired Bere to design a passive house on the plot instead, permission was granted. (...)

Mufasa the mountain lion has spent the last 20 years chained in the back of a pick up truck of a travelling circus.

Moving between remote Peruvian villages, Mufasa went undetected despite the country's ban on wild animals in circuses. However the mountain lion, believed to be the last wild animal in a South American circus, was rescued in a dramatic raid earlier this year.

Barack Obama's half-brother refused entry to Britain
BARACK OBAMA'S HALF-BROTHER REFUSED ENTRY TO BRITAIN

Samson Obama, who accepted a police caution after two teenage girls claimed he had molested them, admitted the incident had damaged the President's good name and brought America's first family into disrepute.

He also told of his regrets that it would mean he may never again be allowed back into Britain to see his mother Kezia.

However, in a deeply emotional interview from his home in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, Obama, who is known to friends and family as Abo, insisted: "There was never ANY improper conduct.

"Nothing of a sexual nature took place and I did not touch either of those young women," said the 41-year-old.

"There was no fighting - and I swear, in all honesty, that I never touched either of them.

"I realise now that I should have stepped away from the situation and deeply regret I didn't behave more responsibly.

Abo said he wanted to publicly place on record his apologies to his brother Barack Obama and his British-based mother, Kezia.

"I have tarnished their good names and deeply regret my actions," he said.

Abo is now banned from Britain after lying to police as he was accused of a sexual assault in Bracknell, Berks., last November.

He gave a false name to officers interviewing him and soon afterwards returned to his native Ke...
