On Tuesday evening at approximately 10:20 PM, police officers hear shots fired at the intersection of West 113 Street and Lenox Avenue, in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, New York. Upon arrival, officers discover a 61-year-old woman, believed to be an innocent bystander, in front of 65 Lenox Avenue, with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responds and transports the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside where she is pronounced dead. Also, a 23-year-old man is discovered with a gunshot wound to the left foot. EMS responds and transports him to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition. A person of interest is taken into custody and the investigation continues.
