The Campervan That's Part Of The Family
Lisa and Mark Vallier bought their very first home together back in 1998 - a 1965 split-screen VW campervan - and their obsession began.
The pair brought the van in Australia when they were two months into a round-the-world backpacking trip.
With fond memories of childhood holidays in a campervan, Mark decided it would be perfect vehicle for their nine month stay in the country.
They bought the van for the equivalent of GBP 800 after seeing it advertised in a local paper in Sydney.
Installing cupboards and a bed, they named their new hime 'Zeedub' after the zebra-print curtains they made for the windows.
During their travels around Australia they covered some 2,000 kilometres [15,534 miles], driving Zeedub everywhere from the Sydney Opera House to Ayers Rock.
When it came time to fly to New Zealand to continue their travels neither Lisa nor Mark could bear to be parted from Zeedub, and so had the vehicle flown back to the UK.
Still going strong today, the campervan has been witness to some of the most important moments in their life together.
It was where Mark proposed to Lisa in 1999 at Powys Castle in Wales and they also spent their honeymoon in there too.
Following the arrival of their children - Aimee, 12, Isabella, 10, and Madeleine, six - they now use Zeebub for family holidays and going on birthday treats.
Meanwhile, in 2009 Zeebub was joined by a 1984 VW campervan with a roof that lifts up to create more space for beds.
