FEATURE - Über 150 Tonnen Tomaten für das Fest der Tomate in Bunol, Valencia
Several people during the Tomatina de Buñol 2024, on August 28, 2024, in Buñol, Valencia, Valencian Community (Spain). Some 150,000 kilos of tomatoes prepared by the company Frutas y Verduras Massanassa arrived in six trucks yesterday, August 27, to Buñol for the celebration of the Tomatina, in which 22,000 participants are expected. The tomatoes have been produced exclusively for the festival, which has been held annually on the last Wednesday of August since 1945, and since 2002 has been considered a Festival of International Tourist Interest.
