June 18th, 2025 - Bnei Brak, Israel. Being a city with majority of old buildings that lack safe spaces many people opt to sleeping in makeshift shelters such as underground parking lots and the underground train tunnels during the missiles attacks from Iran. The misslies from Iran are massive and in contrary to the rockets from Gaza they can completely demolish a building when a direct or near-by hit occurs. This underground train tunnel is situated in Bnei Brak, located in the central disctrict of Israel. At this time the train systems are not active and the tunnel was declared as a safe space for the use of the public. (Ziv Koren/Polaris) (FOTO:DUKAS/POLARIS)
