The World On Your Finger
THE WORLD ON YOUR FINGER
Foreign travel can be hassle, but why go to all that bother when you can have the world's landmarks - on your FINGER.
A wacky jewellery company have created a line of rings that depict some of the most familiar tourist spots in the world.
The quirky accessories include mini versions of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Seattle's Space Needle, Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower.
Jen Murse, owner of Plastique, came up with the idea while on one of her frequent trips abroad from her home in Los Angeles.
"I love to travel - I've been all over the world - and I was trying to coming up with new ideas for more jewellery pieces so I thought about things I like.
"I decided that it would be fun to make a set of world landmark rings so that you can sort of bring the world to your fingertips."
Her 'World Landmarks' acrylic ring range comes in a set of four for GBP 15 ($24).
"My idea is to make more landmarks so that people can swap them in and out and create new landscapes on their fingers.
"For now I just have the 4 landmarks but I have plans to expand the line to at least 4 or 5 more."
The Taj Mahal on your finger? That has a ring to it!

Animals Church .
The Church of the Good Shepherd in Lower Sloane Street in London has no time for dogma . Headed by Rt. Rev H.P. Nicholson , it claims to be a revival of the Ancient Catholic Church , ' Catholic ' in the ' true ' sense of the word .- meaning that it embraces people of all creeds , races and colours , as long as they recognise the Christian God as the God of Love . It also opens its doors on the first Sunday of every month to animals , for special services of dedication and healing . On these Sundays , people bring along their sick animals to be blessed by Dr . Nicholson , and many cases of miraculous healing are on record . Dogs , cats, birds, tortoises, rabbits - all kinds of pets crowd the pews with their human owners ; and the sound of the organ and the singing of hymns is punctuated by growls and yaps and hisses as the animals wait their turn to go to the alter .
Picture shows :- A budgerigar receives the Nicholson blessing ....

Picture shows :- The pearlies sing hymns and watch the procession ...
