Bluntly Snubbed: Model Dishes Dirt On 'Drug-Smashed' Brit Crooner
BLUNTLY SNUBBED: MODEL DISHES DIRT ON 'DRUG-SMASHED' BRIT CROONER
An Australian teen model has released a kiss-and-tell expose on British singer-songwriter James Blunt after he dumped her following a wild party in Ibiza.
Kate Costello, 19, a model known for her good looks and her fondness of good times, had been wooed and jetted around the world by Blunt after first meeting him at a concert in Australia last year.
After the 34-year-old had charmed her into bed with texts saying "I can't wait to have your naked body lying next to mind" and empty promises of helping her further her music career, the two met up again Down Under this year, before the 34-year-old singer offered to fly her over to a party at his Ibiza villa.
Once there he introduced her to friends as his "girlfriend" and proceeded to indulge himself in the drug-fuelled bash:
"There were so many drugs," she told Australia's Herald Sun. "There was this silver platter of drugs, every drug you could think of: cocaine, MDMA, Ketamine, hash. Everyone was taking drugs. I have never been with him and him be straight. He would go to sleep smashed and wake up and have a few hours before he got smashed again."
Things took a turn for the worse when she caught him with another woman and he asked her to pack her bags and leave.
Blunt has a notoriety as a ladies' man, having previously dated supermodel Petra Nemcova and in the past openly boasted about his rock star lifestyle of women, hot tubs, parties and drinking.
Costello told Australia's Sunday Telegraph that she wants "people to know exactly what type of person he is."
"His songs are the opposite of what he is like. He sings about love, yet he obviously has no grasp of it."
A spokesperson for James Blunt...

Michael Jackson announces his Summer 2009 residency at the O2 Arena, London, Britain - 05 Mar 2009
Thousands of fans gathered outside the O2 today in preparation of the announcement of a residency at the Greenwich venue for the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.
The controversial and reclusive singer had previously announced his aim to perform a series of comeback concerts this year, with ten July gigs already advertised on London Underground posters.
The 50-year-old, cleared of child abuse charges in 2005, last performed in the UK at the World Music Awards in 2006, but disappointed the audience by only singing a few lines of 'We Are The World'. His last tour was well over a decade ago.
This time round however, he intends to repeat the success enjoyed by rock star Prince, who he also set up residency at the O2 Arena for 21 nights in 2007. Jackson hopes to stage more performances than this, most likely because he is desperately short of money having fallen foul of mounting debts over recent years. Question marks are also surrounding his current physical health.

Light Fantastic: The Stunning Light Art Of Michael Bosanko
LIGHT FANTASTIC: THE STUNNING LIGHT ART OF MICHAEL BOSANKO
Some of Britain's most famous landmarks have been brightened up for a series of new images.
The photography was completed over the course of a weekend by light graffiti expert Michael Bosanko who uses long exposure shots and different coloured torches to 'draw with light'.
And the stunning gallery if images show landmarks in London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle and Edinburgh in a amazing new light.
Every picture was taken at night, where Michael had to map out each picture in his mind and use reference points on the floor to remember where he had shone light. The technique has taken years to perfect and is completed without the use of any image-altering software such as Photoshop.
Michael Bosanko said: "It's been an incredible weekend racing across the UK, working through the night and trying to stay ahead of the sunrise. It has to be really dark to take the pictures, in order to give me as much time as possible to create each image. Street lights are big headache as the shot immediately begins to brighten up when the lens is open so I have to work really fast."
The photographs were commissioned by phone company TalkTalk to mark the launch of a new TV advertising campaign.
A behind-the-scenes video of Michael Bosanko creating the images can be seen by visiting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC9VO0QvnGM

'Ben Hur Live' play photocall at the O2 Arena, London, Britain - 15 Sep 2009

BEN HUR BROUGHT TO LIFE IN EPIC STAGE PRODUCTION
A live all action production of Ben Hur is set to storm the stage in London.
Ben Hur Live will enjoy its world premiere at the O2 arena on Thursday 17 September.
The massive production includes 400 actors and hundreds of animals, including 32 horses, 100 doves, three falcons, two eagles, two vultures and two donkeys.
It will star little known German actor Sebastien Thrun in the lead role, alongside actress Lili Gesler.
Amongst other scenes, it will feature a high-speed chariot race, a sea battle and a fight between two gladiator armies.
All of this action takes place on a massive 360 degree, (2,500 square metre) arena.
The lavish show, which will only be performed in Latin and Aramaic, is based on Lew Wallace's bestseller, 'Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ'.
The book was turned into a smash hit film in 1959, which went on to win 11 Oscars and turned Charlton Heston into a star.
The story tells the tale of Hebrew Prince Judah Ben-Hur and his rivalry with childhood friend Messala, a Roman centurion.
Police drummer Stewart Copeland has composed the score for the new stage extravaganza, which was created by German director Franz Abraham.
The script has been written by Shaun McKenna, who's famous for helping produce the musical version of The Lord of the Rings.
According to its producers the show has "the speed of a musical, the depth of great theatre, the power of a rock concert and the visual opulence of a Hollywood blockbuster".
