SONDERKONDITIONEN: Satzpreis!
Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the CONCEPT AMG GT XX, a groundbreaking electric vehicle that is the forerunner of a forthcoming four-door production sports car built on the marque’s next-generation electric platform.
The reveal took place in Affalterbach, the heart of AMG on Wednesday (25June25), which was temporarily transformed into “Affasterbach” – a mini-festival celebrating the brand’s motorsport history.
The CONCEPT AMG GT XX features a revolutionary drive system comprising three axial flux motors and a high-performance battery developed entirely in-house. Together, they deliver over 1,000kW (more than 1,360 horsepower).
Michael Schiebe, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH said: “The CONCEPT AMG GT XX is the next milestone in the history of AMG and forges a whole new dimension of performance. We’re bringing groundbreaking technology that redefines high performance.”
Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer Mercedes-Benz Group AG added: “Sports cars have always been the icons of our brand; they are emotional and truly special to create. The brand-new CONCEPT AMG GT XX embodies the hot part of our design philosophy of sensual purity.”
To unveil the new model, the quiet village of Affalterbach was reimagined with the vibrancy of a Formula 1 paddock. A petrol station became a pit lane, classic AMG models lined the streets in grid formation, and checkered flags fluttered above adrenaline-fuelled show moments.
The evening was hosted by Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, joined by actor Gabriel Macht, best known for his role in Suits, who was introduced as the brand’s new global ambassador. *** Local Captio

Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer Mercedes-Benz Group AG added: “Sports cars have always been the icons of our brand; they are emotional and truly special to create. They represent unique moments in time. Icons like the 300 SL and the legendary Silver Arrows are the emotional heart of our brand, as are the GT and AMG ONE. Crafting these masterpieces is about creating something extraordinary – from the C111 to the Vision One?Eleven, and into the future of production.

Inklusive funktionsfähigem Flammenwerfer: Mecum Auctions, Inc. in Walworth, Wisconsin versteigert eine Batmobile Replik aus dem 1989er Film von Tim Burton
SONDERKONDITIONEN: Satzpreis!
A jaw-dropping replica of the iconic Batmobile from Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman is going under the hammer — but it’ll cost you a hefty £200,000.
Measuring nearly 20 feet long, the supercar was built for the Batman stunt show and comes officially licensed by Warner Bros.
The beast of a machine was constructed by Hollywood Productions and rides on a lengthened Chevrolet Impala chassis.
Signed by original Batmobile builders Chris Dixon and Steve Mank of Wounded Knee Motors in Ohio, it’s the real deal, complete with a Certificate of Ownership from Six Flags.
The glossy black fiberglass body closely mirrors the cinematic original and conceals a Chevrolet 350 CI small-block V8 engine paired with automatic transmission.
Inside, the Batmobile boasts a cockpit-style cabin with a sliding canopy, custom leather seats, and a dazzling array of buttons, switches, and levers.
The interior is decked out with a custom Batman logo on the steering wheel and a Wounded Knee Motors badge just behind the driver’s seat.
Adding to its flair, the vehicle features a British Harrier jet intake and a rear flame thrower for an afterburner-like effect.
Though technically driveable, parking this 20-foot hero-mobile might require Batcave-level planning.
The one-of-a-kind machine — dubbed Serial No. 1 — will be auctioned by American auction company Mecum Auctions on Saturday, May 17.

**VIDEO AVAILABLE: CONTACT INFO@COVERMG.COM TO RECEIVE**
Lamborghinis have been out on the ice at St. Moritz on 21 and 22 February 2025 celebrating the Lamborghini Polo Storico’s - a centre for restoring classic Lamborghinis -10th anniversary.
An extraordinary Diablo SE 30 captured the guests’ attention throughout the weekend. The car, painted in “Lambo Thirty”—a brilliant purple created especially for this version—was spectacularly positioned, “flying,” on the panoramic terrace of Balthazar Downtown.
The terrace looks out over the frozen water of Lake St. Moritz, where two more historic Lamborghini vehicles were in the spotlight: the white Countach “pace car”, which took part as support at the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1981 and 1982, and a Miura SV were brought to St. Moritz by their owners to participate in the “The I.C.E. St. Moritz” concours d’elegance.
“In St. Moritz, we kicked off a year of celebrations that will take us to some of the world's most exclusive locations, engaging our international community," stated Alessandro Farmeschi, After Sales Director at Automobili Lamborghini. “It was really meaningful to meet up in the Alps with our customers. Together, in the last ten years we’ve worked on unique projects, certified exceptional cars and promoted the history of our brand around the world.”
Among the vehicles that drew the biggest crowds was the eye-catching, legendary Countach LP 400S, also known as the “Countach Pace Car” because it was used as the safety car at the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix in 1981 and was the official car of the Race Director the following year.
One of the most iconic Lamborghinis ever employed in a sporting environment, the Countach in question is currently being analyzed as part of the Polo Storico certification process.
