Will Wanda nach Australien? Ausgebüchstes Wallaby narrt seit 3 Wochen britische Polizei und Tierschutz

***Wanda the wallaby. These new pictures have emerged of an elusive escaped WALLABY - hopping around the countryside. Wanda the wallaby has been giving the police and RSPCA the run around for three weeks since escaping from a farm in Mildenhall near Marlborough, Wilts., on July 2. The latest pictures show the young marsupial hopping happily along a road and exploring fields, apparently untroubled by watching photographer Phil Brady in Pewsey Vale, Wilts.. Mr Brady, who runs the Wiltshire Wallaby Watch - a Facebook group dedicated to tracking Wanda's wanderings and getting her home to her owners - is not the first person to snap the animal in the wild*** (FOTO: DUKAS/ACTIONPRESS)

[Former England batsman Marcus Trescothick and his family had a surprise visitor in their garden last week when a hedgehog got stuck in his garden gates. The Somerset cricketer called in the help Wildlife Rescue Service to come to the aid of the prickly, yet surprisingly portly animal. Ersatzeltern - Tierpfleger Simon Jeffrey und seine Freundin Emma kümmern sich um den von seiner Mutter verstossenen Affen Mubi / 080714

[A zoo keeper and his fiancée have become parents sooner than they expected thanks to an adorable baby monkey. Simon Jeffrey and his partner Emma are currently mum and dad to tiny African drill monkey 'Mubi' after she was abandoned. When Mubi was rejected by her mother Yola at the Aspinall Foundation's Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent Simon, who is head of the primate section, stepped forward. When she was a newborn Simon had to feed little Mubi every two hours around the clock. Luckily, following the first week she started sleeping through the night so Simon was able to catch up on some much needed sleep. During the day Mubi goes to work with Simon and she spends her time near to the enclosure containing the other drill monkeys. At the end of the day she goes home with Simon to spend time with her 'siblings' - Jack Russell pups Ian and Daisy and a cuddly gorilla toy. It is hoped that in time she will be able to be reintegrated back into the drill group at the park. African drills are classed as endangered and their population has dropped by more than half over the past 30 years due to hunting and deforestation.]
