Bruce Springsteen and members of the E Street Band discussing with management the sound and light problem after the concert was halted for 20 minutes when a fuse blew and cut the power.
Bruce Springsteen in concert, Paris, France - 11 Jul 2016
Rock star Bruce Springsteen did the CONGA around the AccorHotels Arena in Paris last night (Mon) after a fuse blew and the concert was plunged into darkness for 20 minutes. The singer and four of his E Street Band entertained fans by dancing through the packed arena during a power cut in the middle of the show. Springsteen was singing his hit Ramrod when a fuse blew and the arena lost all lighting and sound. The emergency lighting came back on after a few minutes, but there was no sound for 20 minutes as the crew tried to get the power working again. The band's drummer played a rhythmic beat as Springsteen apologized to his 10,000 fans for the interruption. The rock star then spent time signing autographs and chatting with fans at the front of the stage. When the power came back on he showed his sense of humour by playing his famous song, Dancing in the Dark.

24 August 2012. New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
Lower 9th ward. Many new house constructions were started, but due to thieving contractors and owners who ran out of money many buildings remain in a state of semi construction. Hurricane Katrina devastated the area smashing almost all residences following the collapse of the levees. Whereas Brad Pitt's 'Make it Right Foundation' has provided a stimulus for rebuilding a limited area of the Lower 9th ward, much remains to be done as the 7th year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina approaches on August 29th.

The execution chamber at the Florida Department of Corrections 'outfitted for lethal injection' where Death Row inmate Angel Diaz, 34, was given a lethal injection but took 34 minutes to die, twice as long as normal, and had to be given a 2nd lethal dose before he was certified dead. Florida Governor Jeb Bush has halted executions in the state as a result of the flawed procedure. President George W Bush has stated that he needs to be sure that lethal injection did not constitute 'cruel and unusual punishment'. Diaz was sentenced to death for the 1979 murder of a Miami strip club manager
