The playful 2-year-old pooch was once petrified of the wet stuff but now loves nothing better than diving into the sea at Lyme Regis, Dorset. And according to owners Les and Tina Herbert they're baffled by Maggie's about face. Les says: "As a puppy, she wouldn?t go near the sea, and if we walked by the river our other dog would go in but she would refuse. "Last summer, she just started going into the water, and can now swim around forever. Some mornings I basically have to drag her out of the sea". And not only has Maggie developed a new appreciation of swimming, she's gone one step further and is now a keen bodysurfer.

It gives the women refuge, food, health services, a space to learn about their human rights and courses to help them rediscover their self-confidence and deal with traumatic aspects of their lives. Casa Xochiquetzal provides a space to age with dignity for a group of vulnerable women who are often invisible to society at large. It is the only such shelter existing in Latin America.
