U.S. Proxy Voters For The Russian Presidential Elections 2012
March 3, 2012 - Allston, Massachusetts, U.S. - Xania and Yevgania join other Russian citizens lining up at 20 Linden Street in Allston, Massachusetts to cast their proxy votes in the 2012 Russian presidential elections. As the profoundly corrupt Vladimir Putin seeks to return to the Russian presidency after serving as prime minister for 4 years, few people are fooled that this rigged election can be judged by western democratic standards. Legitimate opposition candidates of calibre have been prevented from participating, as Putin's only challenge comes from Gennady Zyuganov's Communist Party, and an array of compliant stooge candidates who conveniently pose no threat to Putin's managed democracy style of government (FOTO: DUKAS/ZUMA)

Armenia, officially the Republic of Armenia
Armenia - Recently Armenia and Turkey have signed the historical agreement that will lead to the opening of frontiers between two countries and to a progressive relaxation of disputes Armenian-Azerbaijani regarding Nagorno-Karabakh. It is the portrait of unknown lands crushed between Russia and Occident, between nostalgia and globalization, between new and old conflicts. Contrasts that take shape in lands full of History, tradition, between old monasteries as well destroyed factories, green mountains and desert lands, unknown and ancient ethnic minorities like Yezidi and Molokan.
