    Greenpeace Protest Olkiluoto Nuclear Reactor
    Activists from Greenpeace target the new EPR nuclear reactor under, construction at Olkiluoto in Finland. Six activists occupied the largest crane on site, descending after one week. They believe that technical problems that have beset the project amidst secrecy by the builders, prove that this kind of reactor is unsafe for Finland and Europe. Olkiluoto is an island located in western Finland in the municipality of Eurajoki, and the site of one of Finland's two nuclear power plants, the other being the two-unit VVER plant at Loviisa.
    The Olkiluoto plant consists of two BWRs each of 840MWe. Unit three, the first EPR (European Pressurized Reactor) is under construction.
