    JFK Library and museum
2000 - Boston, Massachusetts, United States: President Kennedy's boat, The Victura, is preserved on the lawn of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, with its bow pointed toward the horizon. November 22, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s assasination. The 35th President of the United States was struck by two bullets while traveling in a Dallas motorcade with his wife Jacqueline, Texas Governor John Connally and his wife Nellie. The Warren Commission mounted a ten-month investigation that concluded Kennedy was assassinated by a single gunman named Lee Harvey Oswald. The commission also concluded Jack Ruby acted alone when he shot and killed Oswald before Oswald could stand trial. The conclusions were initially supported by the majority of Americans. Polls later found that as many as 80 percent of Americans suspect that there was a plot or cover-up the murder. Questions over JFK's death remain an American mystery. Round-the-world sailor Alex Thomson: 'I think the French are worried about us'
Round the World Yachtsman Alex Thomson onboard the 2019 Hugo Boss, Foiling IMOCA 60, built for the Vendee Globe Race. The round-the-world sailor is confident he can win the sport’s toughest race, the Vendée Globe, in his £5.5m boat.
Thomson has a new toy, and, judging by his Cheshire Cat grin, he likes it a lot. It is the latest in a line of boats called Hugo Boss, after the principal sponsor, and the one he hopes will finally deliver the prize he so craves.
The Vendee Globe is a single-handed non-stop yacht race around the world without assistance. The race was founded by Philippe Jeantot in 1989, and since 1992 has taken place every four years. It is named after the Departement of Vendee, in France, where the race starts and ends.
