Windows for Ukraine: donations help villagers rebuild shattered homes
In villages such as Kamianka, about which 'no one cares', some pink recycled windows make a big difference.
One of the village's most pressing needs is for windows. Amid the rest of the destruction in the village, hardly a window remains, a problem that stretches across Ukraine since every missile or rocket attack on a building will probably also blow out the glass of its immediate neighbours.

The people making a difference – the mum giving free phones and games to young people in need
Kayla Ellis is making sure families in her area arenÕt going without Ð and it doesnÕt cost her a penny. Now it is her turn to be treated.
Kayla Ellis at home in Cardiff with donated items for her Ôcharity shopÕ.
Kayla Ellis's children came home from school recently and asked their mother what was going on: the hallway was full of bags of clothing, trainers and toys. Ellis remembers her own mother also eyeing the chaos Ð and telling her she'd bitten off more than she could chew. Her mother was referring to the unofficial charity shop that Ellis has installed in her house.
