A steamy second trailer has been released for a new film adaptation of classic novel Wuthering Heights — starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as doomed lovers.
The 1847 tragedy by English writer Emily Brontë tells the story of Catherine Earnshaw, played by Barbie star Robbie and Saltburn actor Elordi as gypsy Heathcliffe.
It cuts between scenes of intimacy, charged stares, and moments that highlight the chemistry between Robbie ,35, and Elordi, 28.
The gothic novel is about the tempestuous affair between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, an orphan brought to the Earnshaw's home.
They swear their love growing up but Catherine abandons her true love to marry for money.
A spokesman for studio Warner Bros. Said: “Driven by her abandonment of him for social gain, Heathcliff seeks violent revenge against the families who wronged him.”
The story is set in the UK’s bleak-looking Yorkshire moors.
The new movie, due in cinemas on Valentine’s Day next year, was directed by 2023 hit film Saltburn’s Emerald Fennell.
The trailer adds to the sexy and lustful imagery teased I. The first trailer which was released in September.

Here’s a first glimpse of Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway in a return to the fashion magazine world in The Devil Wears Prada 2.

A brief glimpse shows Streep as editor Miranda Priestley in red stilettos striding through the office of Runway magazine

She gets into a lift and presses a button to close the doors.

But before they shut, a hand appears and stops them — and in walks Hathaway reprising her role of aspiring journalist Andrea Sachs,

Streep turns to her and asks her: “Took you long enough.”

The suggestion is that maybe her character is now the editor.

The brief sequence is accompanied by Madonna hit Vogue.

The film, which also stars original cast members Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, is due in theatres on May 1 next year,

The film reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces new characters played by Kenneth Branagh, Justin Theroux and Lucy Liu.
