A new Sea Life London attraction will host 5,000 jellyfish, including some up to half a metre in diameter and some whose tentacles reach 30 metres. Expert "jellyologists" have spent the past year breeding the creatures in the basement of the South Bank attraction. When it opens in the County Hall venue on April 1, there will be six species to admire including the common, harmless moon jellyfish; the Cassiopea or sunbather which grows its own algae; and the Atlantic sea nettle which must be handled by experts wearing shoulder-length rubber gloves to protect them from their "highly unpleasant" sting. In May the lion’s mane jellyfish, the world’s largest known species with tentacles up to 30 metres long, will arrive. Pictured : Evening Standard Journalist Lizzie Edmonds at the Exhibition.

Photographer Michael Yang pays a visit to Okunoshima, a small island in Japan that is overrun with bunnies, giving it the nickname "Rabbit Island". Here he shares his experience:
"No one really knows where the bunnies came from. Some people say that the bunnies were released after World War II from the poison gas factory located on the island. Others say that school children released their bunnies on the island. In any case, they have no natural predators on the island so they have overrun it."

*EXCLUSIVE* **NO WEB** Los Angeles, CA - The late Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow, leaves her home with a couple of friends as she continues to mourn her father's tragic death. Throughout the day, Meadow and her family had visitors stop by the house to pay their respects and give their condolences. At one point their house keeper arrived alone and took a moment to grieve outside the house and then cleaned up the front yard. Paul passed away on Saturday in a single vehicle car crash along with his friend Roger Rodas and it has been reported that Paul's 15 year-old daughter is, "...taking it really tough. But she has family around her and some very, very loving friends. They're all close. There's a lot of hugging, a lot of hand-holding."

Splash Down: Visitors Witness Large Chunk Falling From Glacier
Splash down!
These stunning images show a huge chunk of glacier falling into the ocean - right in front of an amazed tour group.
British photographer Paul Goldstein captured the pictures on Weds (24 July) as he led a tour for Exodus Travels.
Wimbledon-based Paul's series of pictures show the moment when the Monaco Glacier in Spitsbergen, Norway cracked - and one of the tour party thrusted their hand in the air in triumph at the exhilarating scene.
But, despite the seemingly close call, the group were perfectly safe as their boats were half a kilometre from the action.
Paul explains: "Despite looking extremely reckless and dangerous, these two Zodiacs were actually almost five hundred metres from the front of the Monaco Glacier safely beyond the recommended distance.
"My inflatable rib was about a mile from the cobalt blue front of the huge glacier and the long lens foreshortens the distance. We have strict guidelines that we adhere to in terms of distance but to first hear the deep artillery crump then see the massive serac weighing thousands of tons crash down was hugely exhilarating. The 24 people in those two boats were buzzing for days.
"Sadly this extraordinary spectacle and images masks the more sinister side of climate change as this particular glacier has retreated almost a mile in only nine years.
"We saw many magnificent polar bears on sea ice during the expedition, but for those people facing off to the ice fall, this was their highlight. Those people who travel here on vast cruise ships that you cannot get off when you want will always miss out on these sort of life-changing experi...
