Nicolas Cage dans la série "Spider Noir" (Amazon Prime)
Picture MUST credit: Amazon Prime Here’s a first look at actor Nicolas Cage as a 30s Depression era version of superhero Spider-Man. He stars in an eight part Amazon Prime TV series called Spider-Noir playing a grizzled, aging private investigator Ben Reilly in New York City. The drama is set in an alternate universe during the Great Depression, the show follows Reilly who was once a superhero, known as "The Spider". Years after stepping away from his life as a masked vigilante Reilly is forced to confront his past when an exceptional new case pulls him back into action. Unlike the typically optimistic Spider-Man, this version is world-weary, prone to bar-room brawls, and struggles to suppress violent impulses. This series is set in its own alternate 1930s reality and does not take place in the same world as the Sony Spider-Man movies currently starring Tom Holland . The show premieres in May and will be available to watch in two formats, one full-colour version and another dubbed "Authentic Black & White". Picture supplied by JLPPA
