Hollywood actor friends Ben Affleck and Matt Damon appear together on the Jimmy Fallon late night US chat show to talk about their new movie, The Rip.
Affleck ,53, revealed he was the only outsider invited onto the set of 55-year-old Damon’s expected summer blockbuster The Odyssey.
The film is based on the ancient Greek myth of Odysseus and his journey home after the fall of Troy
The upcoming epic is directed by Oppenheimer filmmaker Christopher Nolan.
Damon said :“It was absolutely the pinnacle of my entire career. I loved every minute of it.”
Fallon, 50, pointed out how ripped Damon had got for his role as the hero of the tale by poet Homer.
He replied: “You know, I'm in shape. A guy gets in shape once…”
Asked about working with Nolan, he added: “It was absolutely the pinnacle of my entire career.
“I loved every minute of it. Yeah, I just loved it.”
Affleck said he went to visit theOdyssey set as a big fan of Nolan’s work and was able to bring his children who never usually want to visit film sets.
