A luxury goods company has produced two customised phones each smothered in almost a kilo of gold, remodelled to look like a gold bar.Russian firm Caviar has produced an iPhone 12 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra encased in 999.9 percent pure 24-carat gold.The Gold iPhone 12 Pro is priced at $159,000 USD / €133.500 euros , while the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra retails at $169,000 USD / €141.900 euros. The phones are each designed in the shape of gold bars.The Caviar logo is emblazoned on the back, with the word “Fine Gold 999.9” and the device’s weight engraved alongside.

The inserts are said to include six diamonds, three rubies, one cognac diamond, two topazes of Swiss shade, a piece of the Moon, a fragment of a meteorite and a fragment of a spaceship. The company has not revealed where the Moon and spaceship fragments were sourced from.At the center of the design is a real, mechanical watch with a tourbillon. The Universe Diamond will be released in a single copy and carries a price-tag of $49,990 USD / €45,030 Euros.
