The world’s tallest building is being targeted –for a high-rise structure to completely encircle it.It would stand The 550-metre high around the 828-metre Burj Khalifa in Dubai with a three kilometre span. The giant ring-like Downtown Circle would house private accommodation, public, commercial and cultural spaces. The architects behind the scheme say it would “ create a hyper efficient urban centre that gives back to the environment” bringing clean air to the city. The five-story structure would be sectioned into five sustainable and self-sufficient units. The large extension of the circuit will include two main rings connected by a continuous green belt called the Skypark. The Skypark is the spine of the development and allows a space for visitors to experience sand dunes, greenery, swamps, waterfalls, tropical vegetation and digital caves that enrich the green ecosystem. It is the brainchild of Dubai based a firm Znera Space.
